History & Staff

Our team has years of combined experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity. We are a supportive member of our community and are a member of the Blount County Chamber of Commerce and the Blount County Wedding Professionals Association. 

Our History

We first began serving families in our Hampton Hall banquet center in 1998. After seeing the need for a larger venue, Smith's opened the Life Event Center banquet hall in 2003. The popularity of these two venues led us to design the outdoor Smithview Pavilion, the largest of the three venues in 2008. All three venues are separate facilities but all are tied to the Smith campus which also includes the Flower Shop, Inc. Maryville's preferred full-service florist and lifestyle boutique.
